It's a good pizza shop and subs

First and last visit for hubby and I. Waitress wasn't very friendly. I ordered a chili dog with cheese and fries. A hard dry hotdog bun with two slices of cold American cheese ( charged $.50), a hotdog that was barely warm, and some foreign looking yucky cold stuff that was supposed to be chili. Hubby ordered steak sub with fries. Turned out to be a steak-um sub. On the up side.... the fries were hot and tasty.

Pizza price went up. Usually burnt. Or never ever consistant. Only overcooked. And the kitchen needs some TLC. Kinda nasty from the drive thru window.

Onion rings were insanely good- probably best I’ve ever had. pizza was ok but seemed to be covered in bagged shredded cheese and so much oil. Pizza smelled great and Tasted ok.

Pizza is definitely the go to thing to order here. Very old school and great staff. Could use some upgrades but why change 40 years of great experiences.

All that comes to mind is my all time fave, is the chef salad. Good food, homey, and reasonable price.

Love eating breakfast at Bob-A-Rea's. Best country ham and eggs ever. Always fixed just right. The double cheeseburger is the best you'll ever eat. People are awesome.

Great pizza, fast service and a cool atmosphere. Glad I finally checked out Bob A Reas. Prices are fair and cant stress enoigh about the great service and great tasting food. Place was on point.

This place is usually very good, but tonight was a different story. We ordered food for pick up and once we got there, they said they burnt the pizza(the rest of the food was done) after waiting another 20 minutes when the pizza finally came out, the steak and cheese sub was cold and they couldn’t even get the order right. . The child that was working there just seemed to laugh it off. Not a very present experience.Do not get bob a reas when there’s are high school students working there!

Cool little place priced very well, loved the onion rings curly fries and mozzarella sticks, and the pizza was really good, the customer service was very very good, will definitely come back to this place again!

This is absolutely the BEST pizza in Virginia. Hands down.

Comfort food pure and simple, you already know what the menu looks like before walking in the door. Breakfast portions are gigantic, and it's all good. Bob's outlasted everyone in town including Hardee's and 10 or 12 pizza joints and served 3 generations his take on southern staples, from cheeseburgers to the spaghetti special ($7, feeds 3). While you wait check out the vintage licence plates that cover the walls. It won't be long, service is excellent and prompt, this is how waitresses can are suppose to wait a table. Your drink won't fall below half I promise. Check it out!

Food and service was ok. Not great and not bad. Service took longer than expected with limited customers in the restaurant. They do get a lot of drive through so that may be the slow down in the kitchen.

Usually the food and service are pretty good, but recently we ordered a pizza and explained the order which was read back correctly. When I went to pick up the order 25 minutes later, I arrived to pick up the pizza and it was not as ordered. I was asked if wanted the pizza or have them remake it and I asked them to remake it. I returned 25 minutes later and picked up my pizza as ordered, but I was charged more than normal. I am so disappointed that a regular local customer would be treated this way. It’s hard to support local business when they don’t appreciate it.

We are from out of town and we're really impressed. It was reasonably priced, the food was good and the people are friendly. I would go back in a heartbeat.

This place has been around as long as I can remember. I go occassionally on Saturday for breakfast and definitely recommend it. The only negative is the place is very small and at times it can feel like you're a little too close to everyone.

They have the best pizza that I have been able to find in this corner of Virginia. Don't let appearances deceive you!! You may not expect much from the parking lot but just go inside and you will be amazed. Great food and great service!

Food was good, it’s definitely a local place

The food is incredibly well priced and the quality of our food was really good for Dayton. I recommend the pizza or a BLT. French fries were also really delicious. We had good waiting service. Stop by if you are in or near Dayton!
